sheerchaos: When Chemistry is outlawed...

Apparently, the war on terror and the drugs have both made it difficult to get a real chemistry set. Somehow, all that crazy liberty was making us, you know, unsafe!

So - how are those wars going, anyway?

sheerchaos: We Has Tribbles

Your favorite original star trek show done in "lolcats" format. How can you resist such utter cuteness?

sheerchaos: Mod trek

I have always wondered - what if the opening to the original Star Trek had been in the style of the british show, UFO?

Now we know.

Somehow, this clip represents for me an alternate, slightly cooler version of our universe.

sheerchaos: Illustrative

here is some beautiful stuff - illustration work by Fred Irvin back in the 50s. this is the sort of stuff that really influenced me as a child, and to this day, I still find myself trying to reach this kind of simplicity and clarity.

Take a moment and enjoy it.

So, I'm soo behind the curve with just getting a twitter account, but is anyone else on twitter? Is there a search feature I missed?

Will you be my twitter friend?

sheerchaos: "Tony! Captain! Look Out!"

Here's an amazing webcomic - Breakfast Of The Gods - which looks at the beloved Icons of morning breakfast cereal in the style of modern "revisionist" comic books. It's Marvel's "civil war" with Tony Tiger and Captain Crunch. It's everything that wrong with modern comics - and it's quite wonderful.

the_midnighter: New digs!

Our host (Hosting Matters) is moving WarpedCorps.com to a new server tomorrow night. This will probably be seamless, but we may get a little downtime. I hope this may help out our sometimes-sluggish messageboard, but we probably won't notice a difference.

If Ahoy Kids! is down, the Ahoy Kids! livejournal is a backup, so you'll still get your pirate fix tomorrow night!
